Winter Fun Off-piste

Winter Fun Off-piste.....

belmont_eislaufen The Imst-Gurgltal region offers beautiful ski slopes in Europe’s number

one ski region, the highlands of Tyrol.

We not only encourage you to bring your family, we welcome them

as our heartfelt guests.

Imst and its surrounding towns of Karres, Karrösten, Imsterberg,

Tarrenz, Schönwies, Mils and Roppen are dedicated

to making your winter holiday a quiet but intense experience.

Cross-country skiing and winter hiking

Approximately 40 km of the most well-groomed trails promise cross-country skiers hours of enjoyment in the Gurgl valley

and Hoch-Imst. The “Teilwiesen” cross-country trail leads directly past the hotel.

We guarantee the best snow-covered cross-country trails

in all of Europe right here in Pitztal. imst_langlaufen

Alpine Coaster

belmont_alpinecoaster

The Untermarkter-Alm Alpine pasture above Hoch-Imst is your starting

point for a very special action-packed spectacle. The Alpine Coaster

begins here. The longest Alpine coaster in the world twists on tracks 3.5

km long down the mountain. Specially-made sleds whizz you up to 6 m

high and then down into the valley.

Tobogganing

You can look forward to a great adventure on these sleds too.

Seven winter toboggans promise a playful evening

amidst the mulled wine and powdery snow.

The Untermarkt toboggan run (4 km) is lit at night two times a week

and offers a night-time sledding fun for the whole family. In addition,

a 6 km natural toboggan run offers fun off-piste.

Ice-skating

There are many options when it comes to ice-skating in the Imst-Gurgl valley.

Enjoy skating at the high-tech artificial ice rink or on the frozen lakes.
